11 companies were honored in the 11th edition of the “Big Little” competition for successful small businesses of the “24 Hours” media platform.
Sofia Tech Park is a partner and host of the inspiring initiative for another year. The ceremony was attended by Vice President Iliyana Yotova, Mayor of Sofia Vasil Terziev, Executive Director of Sofia Tech Park Todor Mladenov, Executive Director of BSMEPA Boyko Takova, business representatives, and the media.
The Executive Director of the Park Todor Mladenov presented an award in the “Startup” category to the architectural studio Simple Architecture. In its work, the studio relies on a clean, minimalist and contemporary vision by creating spaces that offer cleanliness, tranquility and a connection with nature. “For us, it is important not to be the biggest, but the best,” said arch. Alexander Yonchev, head of the company’s team.
This year’s edition of “Big Little Ones” also marks a record of sorts with 142 company nominations in the various categories.
“We are extremely pleased that for another year we are together and make the efforts of these entrepreneurs to develop the economy and society more visible. We strive to help them in our daily work – with incubation, acceleration, mentors, a digital program, laboratory and other services,” said Todor Mladenov.
He called on all entrepreneurs to take advantage of the new opportunities for providing business digitalization services – products, services or processes that are part of the activities of the Southwestern Digital Hub Innovation Amp, in which Sofia Tech Park participates.
Among the awarded companies are: “Dobroletie” EOOD, which created a platform for assistive devices for people with limited mobility, “Chemical Brothers”, which cleans buildings of graffiti, “Kvadrat Design”, which produces children’s furniture, “Dream Big Brand”, which turns images of a loved one into 3D figurines, “Industrial Batteries”, “Next Level Studio” – a manufacturer of fragrant and fun candles made from natural ingredients, the educational platform “I Can – Here and Now”, social enterprise “Rabotilnichka Bisquitkite”, “Stoleto” OOD, which produces innovative chairs, “Edno School” OOD – an innovative school created to teach children and adults Bulgarian.
