Virtual &
Augmented Reality

The primary activity of the laboratory is the development, application, and dissemination of virtual and augmented reality (XR), along with related innovative technologies, methods, tools, and equipment.
The laboratory team is among the pioneers of XR technologies in Bulgaria and possesses extensive experience in both research and applied national and international projects across a wide range of fields, including cultural heritage, architecture and construction, art, engineering design and prototyping, education and training, gaming, medicine, marketing, and more.

Services provided

  • Complete development of interactive XR applications, including system design, UX/UI design, software design, and implementation;
  • R&D activities in XR, visualization, and interaction paradigms;
  • Design and construction of XR systems, including multi-component systems;
  • Integration of XR applications with existing systems;
  • Content creation, including 3D modeling, rigging and animation, 3D reconstruction, environment design, lighting, and more;
  • Conducting trainings and courses.
